Court begins at 6:00 p.m. on court or trial date at
Carencro City Hall located at 210 E. St. Peter St.
The Judge and the Prosecutor only come to court on court dates; any
questions or inquiries should be directed to the Clerk at Carencro
Police Department. (337-896-6132)
Payments for fines are collected at Carencro Police Department Monday
thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. except on the day of court,
payment on that day is due by 3:00 p.m. We accept cash or money
orders. Payments can also be mailed to Carencro Police Department 110
Centennial Dr., Carencro, La.70520 (money orders only, please do not
mail cash)
The Judge does grant extensions but in order to get an extension on
payment of your fine, you must appear before the Judge on your court
date written on the bottom of your summons or citation.
Failure to pay your fine or appear in court can lead to either an
arrest warrant or suspension of your driver’s license.
Accident Reports
Accident reports can be obtained at Carencro Police Department. There
is a charge of $7.50 per copy. Please allow 7 to 10 working days for
reports to be ready. Only parties involved in the accident, insurance
companies and/or attorney’s representing the parties are able to
obtain copies of accidents.
Accident reports can be obtained through mail by insurance agencies or
attorney’s request. Reports are not faxed but are mailed once payment
is received.
